Working in CH (for non EU/EFTA citizens)

we had the privilege of co-hosting an insightful panel discussion alongside the Association of Students from Africa in Zurich (ASAZ) and the ETH Career Center, focusing on navigating the professional landscape in Switzerland for international talents.

The session took a deep dive into strategies for enhancing employability and effectively engaging in the job market, especially for those from outside the EU/EFTA region. We explored the importance of building strong professional networks and how it can dramatically improve one’s job prospects, setting a level playing field for all candidates.

The highlight of the event was not just the insightful conversation but also the practical networking session that followed. This was a golden opportunity for attendees to connect with industry experts and like-minded peers, gaining valuable advice and forging potential partnerships.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to everyone who played a part in making this event a success: ETH Career Center represented by Lorena Coletti who lead the discussion, UZH Career Services, as well as Elias Mbarek, Fatma Abdi and Ankita Chavan who represented ASAZ and WiNS. Special thanks to our distinguished panelists: Dr. Heena KhatterDr. Ahmed ElhassanyAlfiya Shamisheva from A-LinkDr. Hazem Ahmed and Itamar Aharoni, and, of course, all of you who attended.
