The Society for Women in Natural Sciences at ETH
Shaping an inclusive and diverse community at ETH Zurich
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, we had the incredible opportunity to bring together women from different departments across ETH for an inspiring discussion on diversity and career paths. With insights from four amazing professors — Ruth Signorell, Gudela Grote, Niao He, and Elizabeth Tilley — and the guidance of our fantastic moderator, Carla Fernández-Rico, the event was filled with meaningful exchanges, motivation, and connection.
A huge thank you to all participants, our speakers, our moderator, and the incredible organizing team from WiNS, feMTEC, SWiSH, WIDE, CSNOW, and LIMES, as well as the invaluable support from ETH Diversity and AVETH. This event was a true team effort, and we’re so grateful for everyone who made it a success!
This was the first-ever collaboration between women’s associations across ETH for such an event—but it certainly won’t be the last! Here’s to more shared experiences, support, and inspiration in the future!
