Our board is structured around five core pillars that ensure the smooth and effective functioning of our association: The Coordination Team, the Chairwomen, the Marketing Team, the Politics Team as well as all Active Members.

Our Coordination Team ensures that every project and initiative is seamlessly integrated into our overall strategy and direction.
Our Chairwomen organize and manage a myriad of activities, bringing our members together and fostering community engagement.
Our Marketing Team handles our branding, promotions, and communications across various platforms.
Our Politics Team works to address issues and represent our association at different forums.
As an essentiall component of WiNS, our Active Members play a role in organizing and helping out with events.

Association Meetings:
The WiNS Board gathers every two months, providing a platform for discussion, strategy formation, and addressing current projects. It’s where the magic happens and our goals are forged! Are you passionate about what WiNS stands for and eager to make a difference? We welcome anyone interested to be a part of our board meetings. Whether you’re looking to actively contribute or just understand our workings, you’re always welcome. If you’d like to learn more, have questions, or want to get involved, please reach out to us at wins@ethz.ch.

Hi, my name is Tara and I am studying Biology at ETH. I spent many years as a competitive swimmer and still enjoy staying active through sports in my free time. I joined WiNS because I believe in growing, learning, and supporting each other, and I’m really excited to meet and connect with everyone. I love spending quality time with family and friends, especially when we cook and share meals together. I’m also a big coffee lover and always happy to chat over a cup!

Hi! I'm a PhD student focusing on recycling plastics, to try and play a small role in improving what I can. Similarly, I'm happy to be a part of a great organization such as WiNS to promote women in sciences. I also love to bake, travel and read in my free time.

Carla Ferradini

D-PHYS Chairwoman

I am doing my PhD in the Quantum Information Theory group of the Institute of Theoretical Physics, working on quantum cryptography and foundations of quantum mechanics. After work, I’m mostly doing sports in ASVZ or the climbing gym, or into some random crafty project. While in the weekends I’m surely off in the mountains either climbing on rocks or ice, hochtouring, skiing or hiking.
