500 Women Scientists “Really? What Now?

We are excited to announce this event organized by 500 Women Scientists Zurich about “Addressing Challenges Faced by Female Doctoral Students” – an event that provides insight, support and information. Unfortunately, in the field of natural sciences, female and intersectional scientists are more prone to be victims of implicit and explicit bias. This is a safe space to exchange on experiences and find support. What’s more, you can share your own experience with harassment or unfair treatment on this anonymous padlet.
The event will take place at the Alumni Pavillon, ETH Zurich, on Thursday November 24th from 18:00-21:00, and offers:
- Space for PhD students to discuss and realize that others face similar challenges (stories are being collected on this anonymous padlet)
- Advice on how to address these challenges (panel discussion with invited guests)
