Samantha Gordine is a passionate marine biologist, focusing on sustainability and environmental law, with a PhD from the University of St Andrews. She has worked in academia, the non-profit sector, and the life science industry, and currently leads sustainability solutions at Arcondis in Switzerland. Samantha collaborates with pharmaceutical companies and healthcare organizations to promote sustainable practices and one health outcomes. Her projects include a flagship programme on camel health, reflecting her expertise in biodiversity and animal behavior.
During this talk, Samantha will take you on a journey: diving into her PhD on elephant seals , surmounting rocky maintains  upon transitioning out of academia to her latest scientific explorations in the desert .
